Chakanayan FPO Sukruli has achieved a business turnover of 41 lakh rupees by supplying pumpkins to Assam and West Bengal in the financial year 2025-26. Recently, two vehicles carrying a total of 49 tonnes of pumpkins were dispatched to West Bengal, highlighting the scale of their operations. The company\’s own tractor has been actively engaged in this supply chain for the past two months, generating a net rental income of ₹45,000 from this business activity.

The pumpkin market in India has seen rising demand, especially in states like West Bengal and Assam, with wholesale prices ranging from ₹13,000 to ₹19,000 per tonne in West Bengal. This growing market has enabled FPOs like Chakanayan to expand their reach and increase turnover by leveraging direct supply chains and their own logistics.

Tractor Rental and Income

Tractor rental rates in India typically range from ₹1,500 to ₹3,000 per day for standard farm tractors, depending on the region and duration. By using their own tractor for two months, Chakanayan FPO Sukruli has not only reduced transportation costs but also earned additional income through rentals, which is a smart strategy for maximizing profit in agribusiness.
